Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.6 Operating System:WINDOWS 7 Hi I am trying to rapresent a sphere 2D with inside vectors ( in particular is a fit of Poincare's sphere with Stoke's vectors) In order To make surface sphere i generated a matrix and did what i have read about that, for the vectors i did a 3d fit. The problem is mix there together in unic plot, to let see both. What can i do? Thank you a lot Marco
What you need to do is to draw a 3D Vector XYZ XYZ plot first, and right click on the blank area on the created vector plot and select “Layer Contents” to bring up its dialog box. Then choose “Matrices in Folder” in the top left from the drop-down list, and the matrix sheet for making the surface will show up on the left panel. Click to select the matrix and use Right-Arrow in the middle to add it to right panel and click OK to close the dialog box. You will see the surface plot is added to vector plot.
