Hello,
is it right, that Origin 7 projects also can be run on Origin 6.1 (Loading DLL, using dialogs written with the dialog builder in Origin 7 Pro)? On Origin 6.0 it doesn't run!
Is an upgrade of 6.0 to 6.1 free of costs? To buy licences of version 7 is to expensive for my firm!

A few things to consider:

Origin 7.1 projects are backward compatible with all previous version for the most part.

Dialog Builder Dialogs were introduced in Origin 6.1, but new features have been added in version 7.1 that cannot be used in 6.1.

Also, OriginC is new to 7.1 and will not work with previous versions. I believe that a lot of new dialogs will make use of it's power.
