Hi, I'm using Origin pro.

I want to do curve fitting for similar waves by batch peak analyzer.

Now, I determine the position of sub-band by manually entered.
In the initial condition, curve fitting can not succeed well.
When I set the lower limit of height or width of sub-band (for example, 0<height<100, 1<width), curve fitting of some waves goes smoothly.

Is this the right way to succeed curve fitting?

And I have another problem.
When I change the lower limit value of width(for example, width>1 width>2 like below figure), fitting is going well, but #8203;#8203;areas of each sub-bands sometimes change greatly.

Please tell me how to optimize the limitation value.

Hi,

Before using peak analysis, you can estimate the peaks width from FWHM value.

You can use Quick Peak gadget to get the FWHM easily.
Please refer to this tutorial for that gadget.

And we suggest you can set lower limit value of width=0.5* FWHM, in order to make sure you can fit well for the peaks.

Thanks
Jacqueline
