Hi all!

I am seeking some help and suggestion in tangent fitting to a fitted curve.

So the problem is that my experimental curve has an inflection point that I want to find. So I have fitted a Boltzmann curve to my point which was a very nice fitting and then I was able to predict the inflection point (x0 value). But when I use the tangent fitting tool my tangent is jumping up and down hugely due to the roughness of my experimental curve. Is there any way to fit the tangent to the fitted curve rather than the original one? If yes, how? OR is there any other solution for this problem?

Thank you very much for sharing ideas. It is much appreciated.

Andrea

I am not sure which Tangent 'tool' you are using. If you are using the Tangent Gadget, then you select which dataplot the gadget is working with by clicking the flyout button and choosing Change Data.
