A folder in my project explorer has perhap 40 or more graphs or worksheets in it. So many that it can't display all their names (Graph32, Graph33...) at the same time. Whenever I doubleclick on a graph to open it, Project explorer always shifts the list of graphs/worksheets so that the opened object is at the bottom (last) of the visible objects in project explorer. This is super annoying and i can see no reason why the display of objects' names should change when i open one. Is there a way to fix this in settings or is it fixed in a newer version of Origin?

Normally this does not happen, but you must have set the sort and view combination to something that is creating the problem.

In fact, one way that I have found this to be the case is when I have sorted on the View column AND I have Maximized the front window.
In that case, just sorting by Short Name 'fixed' the 'problem'.

thanks for your help
i use
view: details
and
sort: short name
or long name, it doesn't matter how i sort.
i don't know what you mean by maximize the front window, but usually i have both the visible graph/worksheet object maximized and the origin program maximized.

and the project explorer list shifting still occurs. not that big a deal but just one of those little things...
