Dear Originlab and Origin users,

I am currently looking to investigate contour lines (temperature gradients) on 3- dimensional objects. Origin is capable of 2-D contour lines, but I need 3-D.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

If what you mean is to show cross sections (of z=f(x,y) ) horizontally by an equal step on Z axis such as shown below.
you can do it by using Origim's "Color Map Surface" graph specified with black contour lines. (I made all slices white, but if you like, you can show different color at each level.)
