Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.1
Operating System: Win 7

Hi there

I have a problem using Origin 8.1. I have rather large datasets stored in text files, which I would like to import to Origin to fit them. So far importing the files works fine, but as soon as I fit them or save the project, origin deletes the x-values of my data (the one I imported). This has not happened before and I don't really know how to solve this problem. Also, it is quite annoying to reimport the data everytime I do sth. Can anyone help me with this?

That's really wired... would you mind sending a sample data to <tech@originlab.com> so we can try to reproduce the problem?
