Origin 9.1.0G Sr2 Win7Pro
I have a Problem with tables embedded in a graph template. After opening the template the original table is repesented by a place holder. I have not found no other way to restore the table than to insert a complete new table in the graph and redo the formatting of the table. Is there a way to reestablish the link between a table and an embedded graph?

Because tables are just graphical representations of totally separate windows (a table is essentially a worksheet in a workbook), there is no way to do what you want just using a graph template.

That is, the graph template can't save both itself and the workbook for the table.

Hi,

In Origin 2015, you are able to save the format of embedded table in a theme file and later on apply to newly created table. There is no workaround to do it in Origin 9.1.

Regards!

Thank you for the information.
I found a Workaround:
By saving the graph and corresponding table in a separate Project i can merge the two objects in any existing Project.
I agree ist not very elegant but it works.
