Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 9.1 and 9.2 (2015)
Operating System: Windows 7

Hello there,

is it possible to duplicate a contour plot via the batch plotting (or an alternative) tool? I've produced a contour plot with XYZ data from a worksheet containing columns with X,Y,Z1,Z2,Z3,Z4,... data. I now would like to produce the same contour plot for Z2, Z3, Z4, .....
In the Origin Version of 2015 I now found, that I can change the "Z-value" with a right-click on the graph and choosing the option "change z". But the tool "Batch plotting -> Duplicate with new columns" (right click on the graph window frame) is not active (so still not available?).

Thanks for your help!

Matthias

Hi,

That's because your graph is a multi-column one, so you need to use "duplicate with new sheet" method. The by-new-column is disabled by design.
