Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2015 Sr2
Operating System: Windows 8

Hi,

I did not see a section for Python so I thought Labtalk would be the closest area to post this in. I would like to know if there is a way to handle events in Python. For example, I would like to make a Python function that is called every time a cell in my worksheet is altered with a different value. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

There is no directly way that you can handle Origin events in Python. The workaround to it is through OC dialog which can retrieve the message from change in cells, active layers, etc, and then use OC code to trigger Python function.

Regards!

Sean
