Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2015 64 bit
Operating System:Windows 8.1 64bit

How do you fit a single peak to a histogram which may appear to have many?

I am using Peak Analyzer and I am unsure of how to control how many peaks are selected, because I understand that my data could be shown to have up to 14 peaks due to its precision, however, I only want to fit it to a single peak model.

On Find Peaks page, expand Peak Filtering node.
Set Method to By Number.
Uncheck Auto and enter 1 as Number of Peaks.

It will find the highest peak only.

Thanks, Snow
