Hi !
I am trying to adapt the color scale on my heat map graphs to best fit my data. I specifically wanted to do two things:
- Get a logarithmic color scale (with the standard blue/red colors)
- Had intermediate colors in the color gradation
I have not found how to do it. Does somebody know ?

Hi Guillaume,
If you double click on your color scale, the Color Scale Control dialog opens. In the dialog, navigate to Levels. Under Levels, you choose Custom for the "Show On". From there you can set your From and To and specify a logarithmic Type as per the image below.
Is this what you are looking for?

Thanks for your answer.
I think that what your solution does is write the legend in a logarithmic way.
My problem is that I have a lot of points at the night blue end of the color scale, and a few point at the red end. I want to see them all, but do not have enough contrast at the blue end. I thought of using a log scale to see them all correctly at the same time, but this requires that the correspondance color/value be logarithmic.
So it requires that the colors on the heat map herself be changed.
I hope I am making myself clear.

Try this (see image below):
1) Double-click in graph area to open Plot Details dialog.
2) From the tree control in the left of the dialog, select your plot.
3) In the Colormap/Contours tab, click on the "Levels..." table header.
4) In the Set Levels dialog, change your scale to Logarithmic.
