Hiya,

I have two file one is from calibration lamp with minimum values( 23 values between 340nm- 950nm) whereas, I have the other set of values from my spectrometer for the same lamp values are between (340nm -800 nm around 888 values with 0.5 nm interval). I want to divide (spectrometer file values/calibration file values) one over the other to find the sensitivity so that i can use that value in the future for the emission lines from the spectrometer. I'm not sure how to fill inbetween values of the calibration lamp (i.e) y-axis value with the X-axis values of the spectrometer file.

Thanks

sudha

Hi,

You can use interpolate feature in Origin to interpolate the Ys of spectrometer at all X values of calibration measure and then divide by the Y values accordingly.

A reference page of interpolate Y from X feature is in link below:

Regards!
