Hello,
I am a new user of OriginPro. I have problem with taking multiple FFT of one column data w.r.t time. I searched on youtube tutorials and help but I could not find my problem. Lets go origin help which is http://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/Gadget-FFT
Taking FFT of Graph1 between 0-0.05 sec is working very well.

I want to take FFT of Graph between 0-0.05 sec then 0.05-0,1 sec then 0,1-0,3sec ..... (OriginPro takes FFT only one slice of time, if I want to take another FFT it redraws it and previous FFT is always gone.)
Shortly; I want to take multiple FFT with different time scales with using one column data then originpro should draw in same scale with different colors. How can I do this?
Thank you

Hello,

If your X column is evenly spaced, you can devide the sub range by using X index:
For example, you want to perform the data 0-0.05 sec, and assume the index range is 1:10 for both XY
You can run the LabTalk script with worksheet actived:

fft1 ix:=Col(2)[1:10];

http://www.originlab.com/doc/X-Function/ref/fft1

The results will be output to a new sheet, then you can use a loop structure to output all the results and select the column you wanted
to make a plot.

Best regards!
