The LabTalk Editor is a context-coloring script editor designed for developing and editing LabTalk script files. With the introduction of Origin's programming language, Origin C, Origin 7 replaced this editor with CodeBuilder, the integrated development environment.

Once you create a script file, you can run the script by using the run.section( ) method. You can learn more from the Origin Help menu.

You may also find useful the following product demonstrations located:

http://www.originlab.com/www/resources/mm_tutorials/introduction.asp

You might especially want to look at the one on 'Programming a User-Defined Toolbar Button'.

Hope this helps,
Laurie
