Hello everyone,

(I am using Origin Pro 2015G (64 Bit) Sr2)

I have the following problems:

1

I want to export a graph using the font "LM Roman 10" including greek letters to a pdf-file. If I put the greek letters in this font using unicode, they are reconverted to another font that doesnt look very good. If I instead use "Times New Roman" for all the greek letters, it looks good after conversion, however the information about that letter are messed up (it is not possible to copy&paste it). If i try the way via eps -> ghostscript -> pdf it is the same, including the fact that the eps doesnt contain the page size information anymore.

2

How can I remove any transparency information from the pdf. To white out all text elements does not suffice. This and 1 will lead to incompatibilities with the pdf/a-1a and 1b standard, which i need for uploading my thesis to the university server.

Does anyone know a solution for this?

Thanks in advance,

Nils

Hi Nils,

For question 1), as I know, LM Roman 10 is not a truetype font. We need more details to investigate the problem. Please send us the project file and some screenshots via tech@originlab.com to show us the problem.

For 2), to turn off the transparency, you can go to the Display tab(in Graph Level) or Background tab(in Layer level) of Plot Details dialog(opened by pressing F2 key) to set the background color for Graph window or current Layer.

Thanks,
Shirley
