Hello, community. Is there a script that can help me determine a slop of a line between 2 points entered through Screen Reader, which are not bounded to my dataset and graph? I just want to draw a line with a tool, move it to the right and use the script to determine the slope. Using this http://www.originlab.com/doc/Quick-Help/Two-Points-Slope is not a way, since it's bounded to the dataset itself. Thanks a lot

Hello,

In Origin 2016, you can draw a user defined line by using draw data tool,
please refer to this section for details,
http://www.originlab.com/doc/User-Guide/Data-Analysis#Drawing_or_Moving.2C_or_Deleting_Data_Points_in_the_Graph

then you can get the slope quickly, by using Quick Fit Gadget:
please refer to this section for details,

Best regards!
