Origin Ver. 9.1 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:Win 7
Hello everybody,
is there a way to use a LabTalk-script to generate a plot like attached,
e.g to fill the area between two curves.
In the documentation I could find:
set
-pfv fillAreaSetting; Control the Fill Area Under Curve setting
Syntax: set name -pfv fillAreaSetting;
Control the Fill Area Under Curve setting. 1 = normal, 2 = inclusive broken by missing values, and 3 = exclusive broken by missing values.
But here I lack the options "fill to next curve" or similiar. Any suggestions? Thank you.
[Plot shows Line with data of Book1. In addition two functions f1(x) = x+0,5, f2(x) = x-0,5. Area is supposed to be filled between f1 and f2, also transparency of the filled area is supposed to be set by Labtalk] |

Hi,
Currently we do not support more options for set -pfv command in LabTalk and I have reported it to our problem tracking base with ID ORG-14660. It shall be fixed at our earliest possible time.
My thinking is that you can firstly save a graph template or theme and then use LabTalk to apply graph them to the plot later.
plotxy iy:=((1,2),(1,3)) plot:=200 ogl:=<new template:=testfill2>;
Suppose you directly select column 2, 3 to make line plot and set fill to next data plot, then save the graph template as name testfill2.
Then this way will directly apply the setting to new plot.

As I have not worked too much with themes, yet, I took me a while to get into it.
Finally, i managed to apply a proper theme to a previously created graph. So, yes, this a possible solution.
