Origin Ver. and Service Release: OriginPro2015, b9.2.214
Operating System: Windows 7

Hi,

i'm using the peak analyzer (with the window search method) to find the maximum of a spectrum and it works reasonably well. However i was wondering if it's also possible to get the uncertainty of the peak maximum without fitting the peak?

Best wishes
Jan

Hi, Jan

I am afraid that you must fit the peak to get the standard error of the peak height, which is the uncertainty.

However, perhaps you can try the simpler tool, multiple peak fit.(accessible from menu Analysis: Peak and Baseline: Multiple Peak Fit)

Or use the quick peak gadget to fit the peak (accessible from menu "Gadget: Quick Peaks" when the graph is active)
