Hi,

I noticed that, whenever I want to align two legends within a graph the label of one legend changes. Am I using the align function wrong?

So I have a graph with two layers and I added legends for both sets of data. I now want to align the two legends, so I select both legends and hit the Left Alignment button from the Object Edit toolbar. This aligns the two objects but changes the label of one legend to the label of the one I first selected (so if I select legend A and then legend B, both will be labeled A). What do I need to do differently, in order for the labels to remain the same?

Hi Lea,

You have encountered a bug in 9.0 that has subsequently been fixed. It does not happen in the latest version of Origin: Origin 2016.

For Origin 9.0, you can fix the Legend that has broken by right-clicking on it and selecting either Legend->Reconstruct or Update as appropriate.

Thanks,
