Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.5 SR1
Operating System:Win7

I have a worksheet that looks like this:
x y y y y y y y
1 n n n n n n n
2 n n n n n n n
3 n n n n n n n
4 n n n n n n n
where n are all different, a bunch of numbers.

if I select the columns and do Analysis>>Data Manipulation>> Reduce Duplicate X Data
then I only get the mean, and not the standard deviation along the rows.
Is there a more simple way to get this StDev?
The only way I have been able to figure out is to Delete the X column, Transpose the worksheet, then run Statistics>>Descriptive Statistics>>Statistics On Columns, and then manually copy the this table into a new worksheet tab with the X values I want.
Is there a way to do this without transposing the worksheet etc?
Thanks

You can highlight all those Y columns and choose Statistics: Descriptive Statistics: Statistics on Rows.

There are many quantities to computer rowwise, including SD.

Thanks, Snow
