hi all,
i create a graph. then select "graph" -> "plot setup" from the menu to add more data to it. i select the boxes for X and Y data to be plotted but when i click "add", my checked Y box gets unchecked and nothing is added to the graph.

Origin Ver. 8.0.63.988 SR6
Operating System: win 7

Hi,

You may miss the last step. When you click Add button, you just add the curve in the plot list in fact. If you want to add this curve to graph, please click the triangle button at right corner to expand the bottom panel. You could see the added curve in the plot list, and then click OK button to add it to the graph.

Also, there are actually several ways to add data plots to an existing graph:

Hi,

It is weird. Have you tried the other methods that mentioned in this Quick Help?

If it still doesn’t work, we may need more information to further identify your problem. You should send us your project and screen shot together.
