Operating System: Windows
Hello,
is there a way to put a text into a legend with both super- and subscript, with a comma in subscript (the text I would type in latex as $X_{a,b}^{c}$)?
With standard object properties editor the comma makes the rest of the subscript to go to the superscript. I tried using latex app, but unfortunately I get the "DviPng did not produce any output." error warning.
Is there any other way to get the desired effect?

Could you please try:X\=(a\(\,)b ,c) in the Text Object Properties dialog box? Does it work?

Hi Hideo,
thanks for the reply. Your solution works, however there's an additional space between a and comma (see the attached figure) that makes the output look a bit weird. Any other workaround?

Hi malgoska,
I tried some things, and for some reason the following seems to fix the spacing problem:
X\=(a\(a\,)b,c)
Hope that helps! |
