Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2015
Operating System: Windows 8

I have a series of 7 histograms containing different amounts of data. I wish to plot all 7 on a single graph as normalised histograms. I've therefore normalised using this

but when I plot the normalised data as a column graph the only way I can see to raise subsequent data sets only offsets them rather than raising them above other data sets. It is possible to do this with a line but I really require a column graph. Is this possible in OriginLab while keeping the same axes?

Hi amcvey,

Maybe you can create a Stack graph ("Plot: Multi Panel: Stack" menu).
In the dialog of this graph type, you can specify "Plot Type = Column".

Does it work in your case?

Yes,
thanks very much. Is it also possible to offset Histograms/column plots along the x axis at specified distances?

Hi amcvey,

Maybe you can translate a specific plot by "Analysis: Data Manipulation: Horizontal Translation" menu?
(Note: Your plot data should come from XYXY...XY rather than X-shared XYY...Y .)

Or, if you want to sync the tick labels accordingly, you can simply rescale the X axis of the layer.
In this case, the layer's X Axis Link should be "None", not "Straight(1 to 1)" .

How about these ways?
