Hi,

I'm having a problem with the image and profile plots in Origin 7.0. I'm using Origin 7 with service pack 3, and have also tried the latest demo, v7.0518 (B518), and still have this problem. What happens is this: whenever I try to make an image or a profile plot from a matrix, every thing works fine except for the fact that the matrix itself turns into the image. The data doesn't seem to be lost since I can still manipulate it and plot other graphs, but I can't see it. This is starting to really annoy me! Has any one else experienced this problem? If so, I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi,

In version 7, the matrix window is capable of showing either data or image - you can switch between the two using the menu items View->Image Mode, View->Data Mode when the matrix window is active. The short-cut keys are CTRL-Shift-D and CTRL-Shift-I.

Thanks for the reply!

I thought that it must have been something stupid like this, but for some reason I couldn't find the solution. Now that I know of it, I quite like this feature - it's quite good if you just want a quick look at the data!

Cheers
