I am looking to graph several layers of information onto a single graph. I want the Y-axis as the main axis. Meaning that I want different scales along the top and bottom, with the Y-axis being constant. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Your graph needs two layers. Plot an 'ordinary' XY graph of some data and you will see a number '1' in the top left corner - this is the layer number. Double click on it and you can choose the data you want to plot in this layer.

With the graph window open click on Tools:Layer and a seperate layer window will open allowing you to add another layer on top of '1'. (If you just want a new top X axis click on this option in the 'add' menu.) A '2' will now appear next to '1' - this is your second layer so double click and add the relevant data. Note that this data for this new X axis has to exist as a worksheet column ... I think, although you may possibly be able to do something clever in Labtalk.

I have not used this much so apologies if it is not quite what you want.

All the best,

jonni
