Hi,
is there a way to search the forum by author eg check all my old messages? I can get most (I think!) by searching for 'Cheers Pete'..
If not, I'd like to request this.
Cheers,
Pete

Hi, Peter
you may try the forum search utility (above the login button) to do this.
Search For: <the name you are looking for> Search in: Entire Message
Now you get all hits where the name if found!
That's it

Hi Hajo,
If I am correct, Pete is asking for searching based on member/login name without relying/assuming they have placed their name in the body of the message.
Pete, we used to have a drop-down list from which one could pick the member/login/ name, but since the memebership database is huge now, the drop-down was not a good solution. We will see if we can add a text box into which one can type the name and then perform the search.
Thanks,
Easwar OriginLab.

Hi,
Thanks Hajo, Easwar.
Yes, I would like to search as Easwar stated and would find this very useful.
Cheers,
Pete
