Hi,

Why is it so, that when I calculate one of the trigonometric functions I must use i directly in the function. If I use one column as a variable with e.g. PI*i the trigonometric curve seems to get confused and does not follow the changes I do with the variable column?

Hi Espen,

I can't reproduce that problem in Origin 7.0. I set the column values like this...

col(A)= pi*i
col(B)= sin(col(A))
col(C)= sin(pi*i)

Columns B and C were identical.
