My template for "Scatter" graphs, scatter.otp, now has the symbol size set to 3 points, rather than the default, which I think is 8 points. However, when I select columns in a worksheet, and then add them to a plot using the menu command Graph:Add Plot to Layer:Scatter, the symbols are 8 point size rather than 3. Is there a way to control the (default) symbol size in graphs made this way?

Has anyone answered this yet? I would also like to know how to change the default symbol size.

Create a scatter graph and set the symbol size as desired. Then click the Save Template button.
