Hello,
I got few thousand of XY curves (in fact current-tension curves).
I wish to visualize the density of XY coordonates by a color: more a pixel in the graph is crossed by XY curves more the color of the pixel is red...
for example:

How to do this kind of graph?

Hi stf,

If you combine all of the data into one pair of XY columns, then you can either use the Kernel Density plot:
http://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/2D-Kernel-Density or perform 2D binning of the data and then plot the matrix as an image/contour plot:
http://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/2D-Freq-Count-Binning

To combine the data, you may use LabTalk script. If you need help with that, let us know.

If your data is in external files (such as one ascii file for each XY pair), you can perform a multi-ascii import and have Origin add rows, instead of new sheets or books, as an easy way to append all the data.

It works perfectly with the 2D-Freq-Count-Binning function.
