Origin Ver. 2015G and Service Release: Sr2
Operating System:Windows 7

The right part of the "Plot Designations Panel" in the Plot Setup Window of one worksheet, which includes several sheets, is blank (grey). I cannot change or choose any columns. It works in the past and it works still fine with other worksheets in the same origin file.

Someone an idea?
Thanks!

Fabian

Hi,

Can you add a screen shot to this forum thread so we may better understand what is going on? It could be a number of things so seeing definitely would help.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply, Chris. At the moment I cannot upload a file, because an error message tells me "Error saving file:
There is not enough space on the disk."
The size of the file I have tried to upload is less than 100 KB.

Nevertheless, I think I solved the problem or at least found a solution. The size of the origin file was above 200 MB (a lot of data and graphs). By deleting some data, the Designations Panel with the columns of the worksheet appears, again.

So, it seems a part of the plot functions of Origin could not handle files of such sizes? Does someone has similar experiences?

Fabian

Hi Fabif,

You mentioned "There is not enough space on the disk." Is it possible that your disk is out of space and which is causing the issue? Do you have Origin on colleague's PC which you could try?

Our QA couldn't reproduce the issue and is asking if you could zip up the original opj that has the issue and send it to us?

Here is the instruction of how to send files to techsupport.
