Hi,
I am new in origin. I want to fit my data with a square root function. It is L-T data of simple pendulum experiment to find out the value of acceleration due to gravity(g)
I want to fit my data with this following equation-
y=(2*pi)*(sqrt(x/g))
where 'x' is independent variable and 'y' is dependent variable and 'g' is a parameter(can be made as constant).
Please help me.
Thank you in advance......

Hi,
You should define your own fitting function as first, and then carry out the nonlinear curve fit with your fitting function.

We have a tutorial which may help you to learn this feature:

Hope it helps.

Regards,
Yuki
