Hi!

Somebody knows exactly, what the mu in the function PsdVoigt2 or Psdvoigt1 means?

Is it the called Voigt parameter?

I mean, in spectroscopy I would wait this mu = root(ln(2))*Lorentz-width/Gauss-width, here Lorentz-width is called WL and Gauss-width WG respectively.

But I have tried and tried, but this is not the formula for mu, so?

As a result I have found differences in the area after integration using the normal Voigt function and the pseudo ones.

Thanks in advance

Jorge
