I am trying to learn how to use origin C to define my functions for use in the NLSF. I cannot find an example of one to use, are there any? The code I want to write is to fit a very large summation which calls information from another sheet within my origin project.

For general information on using the Advanced Mode of the Advanced Fitting Tool (NLSF) and on defining a new fitting function using Origin C, see these Help file and Web resources:

The Origin Help File (Help:Origin):
Topic = Analysis: Curve Fitting>The NLSF Advanced Fitting Tool>User-Defined Fitting Functions

The Origin Online Tutorials (Help:Tutorials):
Topic = Tutorial 11, Nonlinear Curve Fitting, starting from the topic "The Advanced Mode"

Also, you can go to the OriginLab website and view a multimedia tutorial Defining and Fitting to a User-Defined Fitting Function (Topic = Data Analysis).

I hope this helps.
