I want to import several ascii-files into one worksheet, and i want to give them names to keep the control over the mass of data. So I do not multiple ascii importing, but import every single file, to give it the right name after I imported it ( the name of the file, which maybe can happen automatically!?). But when I then import the next file, the name of the column dissappears suddenly... ?-(
I am using Origin 6,0 in german language, so I do not know exact commands in english. What I do to give it the names is double-clicking on the column-head ( f.e. a(x)), and then type what I want in the field " Beschriftung Spalte" which I would translate as: " column titling" or more simple: " column name".
