Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:

Hi,

I am trying to plot a set of data for a KD using Hill's Model, however when I try to fit in the model, the Vmax given is almost double of the data points I have in the table and therefore the KD is 10 times higher than what it should be. I have processed a similar set of data without any problem so I am not sure what caused it? Could you help me please?

Many thanks in advance

Hi,

Please check your parameters, most likely this is the cause of your large Vmax value. Have you tried changing the value of the Vmax parameter before selecting Fit?

Thanks,
Aviel
