Hi,
I want to present Infrared spectra with different scales.
That means, the region from 4000 to 2000 for example should be a smaller portion of the x-axis in the graph than the region from 2000 to 500.
When I do this with the axis break option (setting 2000 both as upper and lower limit and 40 % as position) I get what I want except
that Origin still leaves a small gap at 2000.
How can I avoid this gap (not just connecting over the break !!) and present the x-axis smoothly.

Thanks
Alex

This could only be done with a two layer solution. The first layer would be 500 to 2000. The second layer would be 2000 to 4000 and could be physically linked to the first layer (not in scales, just in dimensions).

Turn on or off whatever axes you need or don't need.
