I typed:
x=-1:.1:1;
y=x.^3;
plottools

then i have an error pops up: "??? Undefined function or variable 'plottools'"
What is wrong and how I can start using this tool?
P.S. But plot(y); works.

Hi,

These look like MATLAB script commands, and not Origin script commands...

Are you using the MATLAB console tool in Origin? If yes, if a command does not work in the console tool window within Origin, you can try the command directly in the MATLAB command window - notice that when you invoke the Tolls->MATLAB Console menu command in Origin, a session of MATLAB is started, and the MATLAB command window at that point is in minimized state on the taskbar. Origin stays connected to that session, and any variables defined directly in the MATLAB command window can be brought into Origin at any point using the import button on the console tool dialog.
