Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5
Operating System: WinXP

Hi,

I am processing a number of worksheets in subfolders from the root called 'Data1', 'Data2', 'Data3', etc. I would like the results to be output to a worksheet 'Stats' located in another folder called 'Results', or even in a worksheet located in the root folder. I am using embedded foreach loops to process all the columns in each worksheet, then each worksheet in a subfolder, then each subfolder of the project.

When specifying where the results are written out to I think I am having a problem finding the 'Stats' worksheet to write the output, since I am working on a worksheet in another folder.

Could someone give a few suggestions as to how I might specify the absolute path for a worksheet, so regardless of what subfolder I am currently working in, Origin will be able to write to 'see' the worksheet I need to write out to.

Thanks,

Rod.

Hi Rod,

One way to do this: Try declaring your result worksheet prior to entering the loop in which you go thru all subfolders. So you can first set the active folder to be "results" subfolder (if needed) and declare/point to your worksheet outside the loop, and then within the loop you should be able to write to the result worksheet that you have already declared.
