 decomposition of fitted function

Hello,
I wonder if there is a smart way to do the following:
I am fitting my experimental data with function that is a sum of several terms (e.g. a sum of 3 exponential decays). After performing the fit I would like to decompose the total fit into these basic components and plot them together with the data and the fit (something similar to peak fitting procedure, where individual peaks are plotted along with their sum).
Now I do this manually, ie. copy the fit parameters from results sheet, go to the workbook, create new columns and set their values with my function zeroing the unwanted components, after that I can add them to my graph. Of course if I change something with the fit, I need to change the parameters in the "before formula scripts" and recalculate everything.
Is there a more handy way to do such thing? Like perform an "after fitting script" that would create additional columns in the FitNL worksheet for each component. I'd appreciate any advice.
