Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 Operating System: Win2000
I would like to use the "Envelope Curves"-Tool developed by the OriginLab Corporation (envelope.opk, it's the first time I'm using exchange files). By using the included info file, I compiled and built the envelope.c file with the Code Builder without problems by getting a "Done!". But then in the Script Window after typing "envelope data1_b" I'm getting the error message "#Command Error!". What could be the reason ? Do I have to do someting else to integrate the tool into Origin ? I already searched the forum for a solution.
You have been a great help ! It works. The problem was, that I used "build everthing (Alt+F8)" (I don't know the right translation, in german it's "alles neu erstellen"). I got a lot of messages in the output window but it didn't work at the end. Now I'm using Shift+F8 an it says:
compiling... Envelope.c Linking... Done!
as You told. The diffence is, now it works. Why is that ? Shouldn't the (Alt+F8) command include all the functions of (Shift+F8) ?
