Operating System: Win XP Pro
I'm doing a graph here with a bunch of data sets. Each is a line+scatter plot, and the symbols, unfortunately, are white squares with a black outline. I'm doing each data set with the line drawn behind the symbols, but the different sets are so close to each other that the lines connecting the symbols of set C, for instance, are passing in front of the symbols of set A. It looks kind of tacky (Can I still use that word, or does it brand me as a geezer?) to have some lines on top of the nice, pure-white symbols. Is there another setting somewhere that I can use to force the lines behind ALL of the symbols on the plot, by any chance?

Select, Copy and Paste your graph layer to create a two layer graph.
Go to Layer properties on the Link tab to set X and Y 1:1 and on the Speed tab to set as % of linked layer.
Then just set Layer1 data (drawn first) to Line plots, and set the Layer2 data (drawn second) to Symbol.
