Operating System: Windows 2000

Is there any way to create Top X axis related to layer 1 by something like x^-0.25 ?

Origin 7.5 users can make use of a new formula-based tick labelling property:
layer.x2.label.formula$=x^-0.25;
as shown in:
http://www.originlab.com/www/support/resultstech.aspx?ID=1018&language=English
While version 7 users will have to rely on an older method:
http://www.originlab.com/www/support/resultstech.aspx?ID=921&language=English
