Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 6.1
Operating System: winXP

Dear all, this is probably a stupid question but can one order plotted data in Origin 6.1? What I mean is: I have both scatter and line datasets in my plot (and the format of my worksheet is XYYXYYXYY...) and I want to put all the lines 'on top' and all the scatter datasets in the background. Is that possible?
Thanks!
Kind regards,

Joris

Hi Joris,

I'm assuming that all plots are contained in a single graph layer. If so, click the layer icon in the upper left corner of your graph window. This opens the Layer n dialog box. Note the order of the datasets in Layer Contents list to the right side of the dialog. This is the order in which datasets are plotted; those at the bottom plot lastly or "on top." Use the "up" and "down" arrows to rearrange datasets, as needed (if plots are grouped, you will have to Ungroup them before rearranging).
