Hello everybody,
I need some help. Again. :)
I was asked if i coul make a function wich sorts some values in a column (eg A1 to A10) and transfers them to a new column (C1-10). The content of the Neigbouring cells (B1-10) sould be transfered to, respectively to the new sorted A column. The content of this column are no simple Numbers, but Times.
In a origin-Worksheet it workes quite well with
col(d)[j]$=col(b)[i]$
and i and j as counters.
But when i wanted to do the same for an Exel-Worksheet I faced some Problems.
I've tried
%(book1,@DN,D,j)=%(book1,@DN,B,i)
But it changed the content of the Cells. The Times changed from 5:10 (for 5 hours 10 minutes) to 0,5!
I've found no Information neither in the Handbook, nor in the Help-Files for that Problem.
So I Wwant to transfer the content of one cell to the other, without any kind of interpretation, calculation or whatever. What can I do?

You can do this in one line :
%(Book1,@DN,B)=sort(%(Book1,@DN,A));
which sets column B of Book1 to the sorted values of column A in Book1.
Note that if column A is formatted as Time or Text representing Time, then the receiving column 'knows' nothing about the format and displays numbers. Setting the target column format to Time before or after the copy should both work. (At least they do in the Englsih version.)

so it's more a Problem of the cellformat than a labtalkproblem. I'will try it.
