The GUI (such as worksheet columns) does not currently support complex numbers. However, complex numbers are supported in Origin C. In the GUI you will need to keep the real and imaginary parts in separate data columns and combine them programmatically, and for output create two separate columns etc.
what's the complex type expression in origin ?
