Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7 Operating System: windows xp
I'm using origin to process FTIR spectrum (Omnic). One function of Omnic is that you can select a region magnify it in a full window, by double click it will reset to the original curve.
I tried to use set display range in origin to do this. but the problem is, after I chose the range, the curve is not magnified automatically into the whole window. It looks like I have to change the x scale in order to magnify the curve, but by this way, the figure will be changed and can't be reset to full range.
Could there be some way that I can magnify a region temporarily and reset it when I'm done?
Use the Zoom In button on the Graph toolbar. Use the Whole Page button on the same toolbar to restore the page.
Use the (unfortunately named) Zoom In button on the Tools toolbar to zoom in on a rectangular region that you drag out on the graph page. Restore the page by clicking the Rescale button on the Graph toolbar.
Press the CTRL key while simultaneously dragging out a region with the Tools toolbar Zoom In tool. This produces a new graph window with an enlarged region that tracks the area that you dragged out on the original graph window (note that this region is moveable).
Create a "Zoom" graph by clicking the Zoom button on the 2D Graphs Extended toolbar.
