Hi,
What kind of baseline do you want to subtract? And, do you want to obtain the intersection point of the ascending segment and the straight segment? If so, please refer to this tutorial, https://www.originlab.com/doc/Tutorials/Fitting-Piecewise-Linear
Please tell me more details about what you want. If possible, you can hand-draw a diagram to show me this.
Thanks, Shirley OriginLab

Hi,
Could you first tell me how you got the orange horizontal line in magic plot? Is it a known/existing curve or a curve generated by fitting?
Thanks, Shirley OriginLab

the orange line i drew was with magic pot. from their fit curves option i selected straight line and fitted where i want my baseline to be.
then i drew another straight line to intercept with baseline and took the value |

Hi,
I think Origin can completely perform this task: set a straight as baseline and linear fit the curve.
If possible, you can send us the sample data to let us have s try, via tech@orignlab.com
Thanks, Shirley
