Origin Ver. 2017 Pro - Service Release b9.4.0.220
Operating System: windows 8.1

Hi, I have a very big doubt about Integral calculation of a curve using the gadget tool.

If I calculate the area under the curve "traditionally", i. e. simply summing the y axe values (and multiplying by the acquisition time, obviously), I get a value totally different from the gadget one. I don't know why. I tried to change some settings but the values I get are always different (not a slight different, but sometime also twice bigger).. Can anyone explain/help me to solve and understand this issue ? I can't understand my possible mistakes.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I checked the integration gadget with my calculation, they agree reasonably well. See below:

The discrepancy might be data related. So would you mind sending your data to <tech@originlab.com>, we can check further? Thank you.
