Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro2016 (64-bit) Sr2 b9.3.2.303 Operating System: Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard
Hi,
I have a several hundred of Y data columns. In these columns, I want to fit a peak with a Gaussian function. The X-center shall be within the bounds of 25.8 and 26.2, the area > 0 and FWHM 0.5 to 3. I tried to set everything in the Peak Analyzer - and following in Fit control - but it isn't possible to set the bounds for batch fitting. Is there a way to do this? Next question is, why is the Peak fitting function using only one core of my processor? It is taking nearly an hour for fitting 100 columns.
Thank you in advance.

Hi RobDU,
I have tried to save an analysis template with similar Bounds settings and then use this analysis template to do batch processing. All these bounds I have saved into the analysis template has been inherited in each process. So, if possible, could you tell me the details about your batch processing task and share us the necessary files to let us reproduce the problem here, via:tech@originlab.com if needed.
Origin doesn't support the multi-core processor. But we will release an app to improve the speed of the batch processing tasks, APPS-373. Once it is ready, we will inform you if you are interested in this app.
Thanks, Shirley
